Tomorrow’s Valentine

I buy coffee in there every morning,

But yesterday you took me by surprise.

I said hello, tried to keep walking.

You were successful, didn’t say hi.

Asked for your number, I got your smile.

That was enough, so I gave you mine.

You were a stranger,

Now I can’t say goodbye.

Tomorrow’s valentine.

Oh, I promise you’ll be mine.

Oh, no, maybe not tonight,

But baby, be tomorrow’s valentine.

We shared a taxi, talked about tv.

I don’t own one, but I could buy one.

It makes me feel good, when you laugh with me.

I don’t know you, not much just some.

You said you’d called me, maybe you will.

I’ll be waiting, til the brand new sun.

You were a stranger,

Now I can’t say goodbye.

Tomorrow’s valentine.

Oh, I promise you’ll be mine.

Oh, no, maybe not tonight,

But baby, be tomorrow’s valentine.

You said you’d call me, indeed you did.

We’re still talking, I hope this never ends.

You were a stranger,

Now I can’t say goodbye.

Tomorrow’s valentine.

Oh, I promise you’ll be mine.

Oh, no, maybe not tonight,

But baby, be tomorrow’s valentine.
