Singing To Deaf Ears

Let your head fall, let it hang,

You’ve hung yourself, haven’t you?

Let your hair down, cause the outside,

They can’t feel you.

All the cords, that are supposed to find you when you cry

All the people, who swore they’d die by your side,

You made one mistake, and you’re drowning in apologies,

But they’re deaf, you’re alone, not sure what you did wrong

But you’re sorry, doesn’t she know you’re sorry?

Let your hands fall, let it go

You’ve lost yourself, haven’t you?

Let your hopes down, cause without wings,

They’ll never fly

All the cords, that are supposed to find you when you cry

All the people, who swore they’d die by your side,

You made one mistake, and you’re drowning in apologies,

But they’re deaf, you’re alone, not sure what you did wrong

But you’re sorry, doesn’t she know you’re sorry?

The wound always seems to hurt the most,

When you’re pulling off the band-aid,

Suddenly you see the light,

You meant everything you ever did.

If it means you’ll die in this room alone,

Accept your fate, bite your lips,

Scream until they hear you again.

Let your hang fall, let it hang

You’ve hung yourself again, haven’t you?

Bees and Birds

Since you, I haven’t spent much time alone

Cause all my walls they talk to me,

Show memories, and sing songs to me

Since you, I haven’t spent much time outside

Cause all the bees and birds they smile,

And everything says you

Like a fly upon the wall,

Always watching what I do,

Your six eyes make me weak,

And I can’t fly with broken wings

But you clearly could

But you clearly could

Since you, I haven’t done much of anything at all,

Cause all my walls crumble and fall,

Torn down, I stumble and I crawl

Since you, I haven’t stopped moving a minute

When I do my head stops spinning

And everything says you

Like a fly upon the wall,

Always watching what I do,

Your six eyes make me weak,

And I can’t fly with broken wings

But you clearly could

But you clearly could

Cause you left and made a mess of me

You took the bees and birds,

Not just stones but words,

I find among the debris.

Cause you left and made a mess… of me

Like a fly upon the wall,

Always watching what I do,

Your six eyes make me weak,

And I can’t fly with broken wings

But you clearly could

But you clearly could

Cause all the bees and birds they smile

And everything says you…

Who Let Me In The Deep End Without A Buddy?

Your walk, your touch,

Those lips I’ll never feel,

What I’d do to feel them,

I shouldn’t really say.

That smile, those eyes,

They never see me,

What I’d to get them on me,

I won’t say.

Haven’t I been the best, the best, the best

You’ve never had

Cause I know you’re still the best, the best, the best

I’ll never hold

Would it kill you to kill, for me?

Would you care to care, for me?

Cause I’m drowning in an ocean of you,

Please don’t save me,

I’m just another fish, in the sea,

You’ll swim right passed,

You’ve swam right passed me.

Your words, your face,

It never faces me.

That mouth, your hands,

They’ll never trace me,

What I do for them to trace me,

I really shouldn’t say.

Haven’t I been the best, the best, the best

You’ve never had

Cause I know you’re still the best, the best, the best

I’ll never hold

Would it kill you to kill, for me?

Would you care to care, for me?

Cause I’m drowning in an ocean of you,

Please don’t save me,

I’m just another fish, in the sea,

You’ll swim right passed,

You’ve swam right passed me.

Would it kill you to kill, for me?

Would you care to care, for me?

Cause I’m drowning in an ocean of you,

Please don’t save me,

I’m just another fish, in the sea,

You’ll swim right passed,

You’ve swam right passed me.

I’m drowning…

I’m drowning, in you…

City Upon A Hill

Try and hold me underwater

Maybe when I can’t breathe I’ll be sane

But I’m not the wrong one,

Hold your own breath, if you think I’m ever coming back.

Fence me into your conventions,

My white teeth are still so crooked,

I don’t pray with my eyes closed anymore,

To hope, they’ve gotta be open.

I feel bad for you,

It’s a long way down from

The city upon a hill.

I feel bad for you,

You’ll see you’re still a far cry from

The standard you’re made of,

It’s a long way down,

From the city upon a hill, ooh.

You hold a witch hunt, cause your

Scape goat’s escaping.

I must be some kinda ghost, to go through

These brick walls you believe in

I feel bad for you,

It’s a long way down from

The city upon a hill.

I feel bad for you,

You’ll see you’re still a far cry from

The standard you’re made of,

It’s a long way down,

From the city upon a hill, ooh.

You don’t need my pity,

So why do you need my head bowed down.

You don’t need my pity

So why do you need my head bowed down,

You’re better off burning this city,

You’re better off burning this city, in your head.

I feel bad for you,

It’s a long way down from

The city upon a hill.

I feel bad for you,

You’ll see you’re still a far cry from

The standard you’re made of,

It’s a long way down,

From the city upon a hill, ooh.
