Little

One foot in and one foot out

Every word I say is, said with doubt

Too much to think about,

Too much to say

Sometimes I feel you,

Slipping away

How can you care so little

When I care so much

Just different definitions,

For the same word, love

One hand on mine, and the other hails a cab

To get fast outta town, how will I know if you’ll be back

Should I wait in your doorway, wait on your stairs

If you are not mine, should I think you are theirs?

How can you care so little

When I care so much

Just different definitions,

For the same word, love

And I know, I’m leaning too hard

But maybe then, maybe then you’ll fall

And I know, I’m leaning too hard,

But maybe then, maybe then you’ll fall

Fall into, fall into

How can you care so little

When I care so much

Just different definitions

For the same word, love

Your Human

Another headache coming on

She couldn’t leave well enough well alone

Another day you’ll choose to fight that

But for now a sweet sedation comes along

From where I am

I can see you clearly now

You don’t look much like a man

More a monster

Show me your human

Show me you’re alive

From where I am

You don’t look much like

You don’t look much like a man

Another escape route shot to hell

For what it’s worth you almost tried

What do you when there’s only yourself

Where’s the blame when there’s nobody else

From where I am

I can see you clearly now

You don’t look much like a man

More a monster

Show me your human

Show me you’re alive

From where I am

You don’t look much like

You don’t look much like a man

All these knots, nothing to hold

What can you say to make it right

All these clocks, but there’s no time'

All these memories, but nothing left to say

From where I am

I can see you clearly now

You don’t look much like a man

More a monster

Show me your human

Show me you’re still alive

From where I am

You don’t look much like

You look too much like, you’ve died.
