Life Without Limits

The day starts with a shining sun and will to be productive

Sometimes you get those moods where nothing can bring you down

I had a dream you had a day like this,

And I was there, and the wind was kind,

And all we had was time,

I am strong, and I am willing,

To be the one, who shows you the beauty

Of life without limits,

That bend and break you.

Today was different cause you smiled,

Whether it was real I don’t quite know,

Your blue eyes are good at lying,

And bad habits are to break,

But yours are the worst I’ve ever seen,

But some mistakes you have to make.

I am strong, and I am willing,

To be the one, who shows you the beauty

Of life without limits,

That bend and break you.

You have a shell, and an inner core,

I want to know the inside,

The darkness there can meet the light,

If only it would surface,

You can’t stop yourself from hurting,

Just by being sure you’re the only one who gets to know you at all.

I am strong, and I am willing,

To be the one, who shows you the beauty

Of life without limits,

That bend and break you.

Catch The Time

It’s only forgiveness,

That dangles from in her eyes,

There used to be day dreams,

But now nightmares take the skies,

The stars that watch the passion,

And let the moon drown out their cries,

Burn so bright until they fade, like cobwebs catch the time.

Breathe my life into me,

So I may feel inside,

A place that left me in the doorway,

With my broken hands tied,

You cry until they hear you,

Then insist you’re quite alright,

It’s the guiding reassurance,

That lets you sleep the night.

You pass your time in darkness,

For meaning is a myth,

Meeting in the corners,

Of shallow and still breaths.

I know where I’m going with this but I’m not quite there.

She’s got the body of a perfume bottle,

Walking down the hall, and the boys all follow,

The palm of her painted fingernailed hands,

Are calling you out, and inviting you in,

But woah, woah, woah.

Kiss Your Soul

Taste, the stolen promise I left on your lips,

Now, there’s only hope where there was emptiness,

You, sparked a fire in the wind,

Taste, the stolen promise I left on your lips,

Did I take that or give it

Or steal it or lift it,

Where did the time go?

Where did the lines go?

You’ve history of making a fool of me.

It’s only forever,

That' I’ll be thinking of you,

It’s only forever,

That I’ll be thinking this is true,

It’s only forever,

It’s only seven letters,

It’s only, it’s only,

Us together, that makes me feel like this.

Place, that twisted smile on my mouth,

Now, there’s nothing more to live without,

You, don’t give me anything to doubt,

Place, your twisted smile on my mouth,

Do i want that or need it?

See or believe it?

Where does the time go?

Where does the time go?

I’ve a history of wanting what could never be.

It’s only forever,

That' I’ll be thinking of you,

It’s only forever,

That I’ll be thinking this is true,

It’s only forever,

It’s only seven letters,

It’s only, it’s only,

Us together, that makes me feel like this.

Tonight, tonight,

I wanna heal your broken bones,

I wanna seep into your holes,

Know what nobody knows,

Go where nobody goes,

Kiss your very soul,

Reap what I have sown,

Show how we have grown,

Learn what I could never know

On my own,

It’s only forever,

That' I’ll be thinking of you,

It’s only forever,

That I’ll be thinking this is true,

It’s only forever,

It’s only seven letters,

It’s only, it’s only,

Us together, that makes me feel like this.

Because You Didn’t See

I wipe my own tears now, and stand on my own,

It was only a moment of weakness.

You kept me breathing, and you kept me speechless,

But now I am free to speak.

I left the heartache for the happy,

I traded lonely for gladly,

This isn’t just a phase, there’s a smile on my face,

And I am done with you.

I keep my hand cleans, cause yours never were,

I look for your car, on my way to work.

You still have a memory,

Cause yours are my best,

But as my own entity,

I see that I am blessed,

Because you didn’t see that I’m not worthless.

I left the heartache for the happy,

I traded lonely for gladly,

This isn’t just a phase, there’s a smile on my face,

And I am done with you.

Within The Lines

You see through me

So easily

But you can’t catch yourself

In the middle of your empty sighs

You cry at night,

Fake your way through life,

Pretending that you feel okay

Chorus:

There’s only so much to imagine,

When beauty equals pain

The mirror becomes fixed

But you tell yourself you’re sane

There’s nothing more than fantasy

Within the lines of your reason

There’s nothing more you want to see

Within the lines of your feelings

Nothings real until it’s gone

But you can’t let yourself regret

Anything you’ve never said

You walk too fast, or the world’s too slow,

For a smile that only knows where it wants to go,

And never changes speeds or leaves its home

Chorus:

There’s only so much to imagine,

When beauty equals pain

The mirror becomes fixed

But you tell yourself you’re sane

There’s nothing more than fantasy

Within the lines of your reason

There’s nothing more you want to see

Within the lines of your feelings

Stay Young

Were only one set of eyes,

At the scene of the crime,

Living all but significant lives.

There’s somebody else,

Who does it better than me,

And she’s what you want,

I’m just making believe

So I breathe,

But I know that truely

I’m gonna grow old,

I’m gonna stay young,

I’m gonna be beautiful, beautiful,

Sing the songs never sung,

You’re gonna see,

You mean nothing to me, you were wrong.

There’s point A and point B,

So much left in between,

Including me,

I don’t like where I’m going,

I kind of miss where I’ve been,

But there’s a long road ahead me,

For me to mark up on my own.

No room for you and her on this new road.

I’m gonna grow old,

I’m gonna stay young,

I’m gonna be beautiful, beautiful,

Sing the songs never sung,

You’re gonna see,

You mean nothing to me, you were wrong

A World of Our Own

When we have a world of our own,

They will see have much we have grown,

But our time here will be wasted,

On the things that we will do with it,

And I, don’t know why,

I can’t refuse anything you do,

And I, don’t know why,

You’re such a big deal,

But I, am nothing to you.

Oh, when the sun comes, the moon goes,

The night ends, and the dawn brings happiness,

But I’m always left in the dark, you tear me apart,

And I don’t know how to resist.

When we have a world of our own,

We will see how we were alone,

But the idea will be wasted,

Cause there’s nothing to do with the time.

And I, don’t know why,

It’s all dying without living,

And I, don’t know why,

You’re a question in the sky,

And I can see you the light in your invisible eyes,

Oh, when the sun comes, the moon goes,

The night ends, and the dawn brings happiness,

But I’m always left in the dark, you tear me apart,

And I don’t want to resist.

Feeling Fires

You say goodnight with the saddest yellow in your eyes,

The kind that’s only in the stars, when we take our words too far,

And we know we should slow down, but tomorrow’s not sound,

With the promises of today, like the lines of a play winding down

The points that you make in my life,

Are too much to forget you, I won’t forget you tonight,

Let’s burn the town, with the fire you can’t find,

I’m hoping that it’s there for me, when I get cold at night.

Hearts in the sand, blood on our hands,

The things I do, when I’m thinking of you,

Not to mention we’re left, grieving with theft,

Cause you stole my heart, right from the start of the end

The points that you make in my life,

Are too much to forget you, I won’t forget you tonight,

Let’s burn the town, with the fire you can’t find,

I’m hoping that it’s there for me, when I get cold at night.

I think I care too much,

And you don’t talk enough,

For me, to love that about you,

I wanna know how you think,

How you see with your heart,

When you close your eyes, do you see me?

The points that you make in my life,

Are too much to forget you, I won’t forget you tonight,

Let’s burn the town, with the fire you can’t find,

I’m hoping that it’s there for me, when I get cold at night.

I touch all the flames, but still can’t explain,

Why it’s so hot, and it’s still not enough,

I need you to help, to say all you felt,

When you were close to me, When you heard how I breathe,

Only its gone, When we say what we want…

The points that you make in my life,

Are too much to forget you, I won’t forget you tonight,

Let’s burn the town, with the fire you can’t find,

I’m hoping that it’s there for me, when I get cold at night.

The Only Promise

Do you laugh at the rain?

Do you smile at the stars?

Are you mad from all the pain?

I can take you oh so far.

You hear the thunder in your bed,

But the thunder’s only in your head.

There are things I can’t explain,

But turn your head to them,

Because you want this in the end.

It will never be the same,

After it has been like this,

The only things I can promise you,

Are consequences.

Best Enemies

Her eyes are squinted suspiciously,

You know we’re all looking cause you’re always something to see,

I close, my eyes, Not wanting anything about you,

To linger in my brain,

You’re a friend that I can’t handle,

A connection I can’t maintain.

You speak in knives,

Spit your fires,

So we’re best enemies,

Till the death

Oh we’re best enemies,

I’ll never be your friend.

You speak so loudly, cause you want everybody to ear,

The empty words you say, the things you claim that you don’t fear,

I know you’re scared, cause your countenance betrayed the words they hear,

I don’t think you meant it, when you said you loved him,

Cause you’re still in kindergarten, and we’re all toys to you,

Chorus.

Your Kind

When you smile,

I never know what you're thinking,

Even when I think I do,

I can’t hear behind lullabies, Sirens in my mind,

Telling you I am just your kind.
