Suit & Tie

Who needs a future

I wanted everything else

Your ties a noose now

Your suit’s a costume

Better fit for a clown

There’s only death left

Myself is shamed at its face

I promised independence

And I let them rattle my teeth

My faith is shaken

A god I can’t find

The day I woke up

To put on a suit and tie

Who needs any of it

I want everything else

My paycheck’s all gone now

My car’s sitting at the bottom of a lake

There’s only death left

Myself is shamed at its face

I promised independence

And I let them rattle my teeth

My faith is shaken

A god I can’t find

The day I woke up

To put on a suit and tie

Where is what matter's most

What is this feeling of regret

My path is worn out

Am I the only one who feels this?

There’s only death left

Myself is shamed at its face

I promised independence

And I let them rattle my teeth

My faith is shaken

A god I can’t find

The day I woke up

To put on a suit and tie
