Singing To Deaf Ears

Let your head fall, let it hang,

You’ve hung yourself, haven’t you?

Let your hair down, cause the outside,

They can’t feel you.

All the cords, that are supposed to find you when you cry

All the people, who swore they’d die by your side,

You made one mistake, and you’re drowning in apologies,

But they’re deaf, you’re alone, not sure what you did wrong

But you’re sorry, doesn’t she know you’re sorry?

Let your hands fall, let it go

You’ve lost yourself, haven’t you?

Let your hopes down, cause without wings,

They’ll never fly

All the cords, that are supposed to find you when you cry

All the people, who swore they’d die by your side,

You made one mistake, and you’re drowning in apologies,

But they’re deaf, you’re alone, not sure what you did wrong

But you’re sorry, doesn’t she know you’re sorry?

The wound always seems to hurt the most,

When you’re pulling off the band-aid,

Suddenly you see the light,

You meant everything you ever did.

If it means you’ll die in this room alone,

Accept your fate, bite your lips,

Scream until they hear you again.

Let your hang fall, let it hang

You’ve hung yourself again, haven’t you?
