The Girl Made By The Scientist

I once met a girl

Who was made by a scientist

He kept her in a cage but one day

She found her way out of it

I said hello, and I told her my name

She had no place to go, I said why don’t you come with me?

The scientist never missed her,

Only wondered where she went.

She is special, she is someone,

And to him she’s just an experiment.

I’m living with this girl

Who was made by a scientist

But I heard they keep them in cages

My boyfriend said, how did she get out of it?

I know this girl

Who was made by a scientist

She met a boy

Who loved her with everything

The scientist never missed her,

Only wondered where she went.

She is special, she is someone,

And to him she was just an experiment.

I met a little girl today,

Maybe only four or five years old,

She looked at me and couldn’t wait to say hello

My mommy was a girl

Who was made by a scientist

He kept her in a cage

Until she one day found her way out of it

I’m so happy she did because

People shouldn’t live in cages

Little girls shouldn’t live in cages

Without love.

The scientist never missed her,

Only wondered where she went.

She is special, she is someone,

And to him she’s just an experiment.

The scientist never missed her,

Only wondered where she went.

She is special, she is someone,

And to him she’s just an experiment.

I once met a girl

Who was made by a scientist

I was touched by her life,

More like grabbed by the wrist.

The girl made by the scientist is love,

Not an experiment.

A friend, a lover, even an enemy a mother,

All the science in the world couldn’t make you that.
