Won’t Heal

Your legs are broken,

Were they not I’d ask you where you stand.

It’s complicated.

You’re comprising all your oxygen.

Time to focus.

You lost the way and burned the map.

You dig it deeper,

To make believe that there was never a gap.

Somebody, somebody

Hear me

When I say, When I say

This wound

Wont heal

On its own

You’ll see.

I see the blood loss,

That’s made you cutthroat.

There is no question,

Of whether now you’ll sink or float.

Unforgiving,

You can’t make sense of where you are.

Somebody, somebody

Hear me

When I say, When I say

This wound

Wont heal

On its own

You’ll see.

Oh it was suicide.

Somebody, somebody

Hear me

When I say, When I say

This wound

Wont heal

On its own

You’ll see.
