Where You Are

I want to get to where you are

But down here from the ground, you look so far

I’m not sure if I can take any more

I want to get to where you are

Did you forget how it was?

Cause my memories are all i’ve got,

And they still look good,

But not, from where you are.

I guess it’s not something I’d like to repeat

That same old feeling of feeling incomplete

I can’t stand to sleep alone,

Cause I know that you aren’t and this is what I’ve become,

That petty little girl, that lonely little girl,

With the wide eyes,

You always like them,

That petty little girl,

On a tangent ride,

I’m gonna kiss the sky,

But I’ll think of you,

And where you are.

And where you are.

Cause I’m not there…

I want to get to where you are..

Did you forget how it was?

I want to get to where you are,

But I’m not there.

I’m sure there’s sunshine and flowers

And hills in the distance

And trees that stay green all the time,

There’s springtime and life

With you,

When I have just the winter,

A timeless condition,

Of limbo and waiting for life.

Where you are…
