Not All There

Maybe I’ll wake up

Beautiful, beautiful

Maybe I won’t wake up

Maybe I dream in

Black and white, black and white

Maybe I don’t get enough sleep at night

When you look at me

Is it obvious

That somethings wrong

Is it clear, that I’m not all there

That I’m strange,

When you look at me

Is it obvious? Isn’t it obvious?

Maybe I’ll be good

Tomorrow, tomorrow

Maybe tomorrow never comes

Maybe I crawl in

From a window in the basement

I like the feel of pavement on my skin

When you look at me

Is it obvious

That somethings wrong

Is it clear, that I’m not all there

That I’m strange,

When you look at me

Is it obvious? Isn’t it obvious?

Maybe, I’m just like you in your head

Maybe, you wonder what it feels like being dead

Maybe, I’m the one you want to be inside

Maybe, I’m the one you were before you went and let yourself die

Maybe I’m just like you

Maybe I’m just like you

When you look at me

Is it obvious

That somethings wrong

Is it clear, that I’m not all there

That I’m strange,

When you look at me

Is it obvious? Isn’t it obvious?

Storm

D-d-d-dose me up

Am I close enough

To the edge yet

Will you come believe me now

D-d-d-dose me up

I wanna feel your drugs

When they hit me

Like a storm to the veins

Knock Myself Out

Am I supposed to live

With a nice what if

Kiss your cheek and say goodbye

Am I supposed to be satisfied

With the nothing you’ve given me

But all those promises,

Oh, you thought you had me on my knees

C’mon fighter, at least let me knock myself out

I’ve got a few punches left, are you still around?

Won’t let this rest, til I’m tired out

Cause you’re not leaving without a fight, this round

Am I supposed a give

A fuck what you think

Go ahead though, speak your mind

Am I supposed to take notes

Have another drink,

You’re easier to take down,

When you think you’re bigger

C’mon fighter, at least let me knock myself out

I’ve got a few punches left, are you still around?

Won’t let this rest, til I’m tired out

Cause you’re not leaving without a fight, this round

Cause I think this is worth the fight,

Am I supposed lay down and die?

C’mon fighter, at least let me knock myself out

I’ve got a few punches left, are you still around?

Won’t let this rest, til I’m tired out

Cause you’re not leaving without a fight, this round

Am I supposed to live,

With a nice what if?

Am I supposed to live, supposed to live,

With a nice what if?

Kiss your cheek and say goodbye,

I refuse to lay down and die,

Cause I think this is worth the fight,

I think this is worth the fight.

Butterfly Graveyard

Where do the butterflies go when they die

A one winged trip to heaven

I wanna make it

I wanna make it

Don’t wait til it’s too late to try to fly

I saw you struggle,

I see you stumble,

Across your own fate,

You cross your own fate

But if you just spread

The wings that you sprout

Maybe you’d fall,

Only one way to find out

Where do the butterflies go when they die

A one winged trip to heaven

I wanna make it

I wanna make it

Don’t wait til it’s too late to try to fly

Cmon get going

The winds not so strong

But it’ll carry you farther

You’d imagine you could go

But if you just spread

The wings that you sprout

Maybe you’d fall,

Only one way to find out

Where do the butterflies go when they die

A one winged trip to heaven

I wanna make it

I wanna make it

Don’t wait til it’s too late to try to fly

There are stones for the ones

Who never left the ground

There are stones for the ones

Who flew just enough

But the ones who took off

Unweighed by leaving their discomforts behind

Well they burn with the stars

Cause they dared to fly too high

Where do the butterflies go when they die

A one winged trip to heaven

I wanna make it

I wanna make it

Don’t wait til it’s too late to try to fly

Oyster

Now I’m scared to fade away

Cause all my friends are ghosts

I have seen what it does to them

To know they’re not at their worst

Just yet

I have buried all my sense

Under self loathing pride

I have buried all my sense

In an oyster deep inside

You want to contain this?

You wanna avoid this?

Just one more internal conflict

You won’t survive.

I’m watching from the sidelines

Without one tear in my eye,

Cause you were begging for this all along,

Now it comes along  and you hide,

In an oyster.

Now you’re scared to greet the day

Cause you know it could be your last

As just another shadow unfacing

The things you wish were photographs

You have buried all you sense

Under self loathing pride

You have buried all your sense

In an oyster deep inside

You want to contain this?

You wanna avoid this?

Just one more internal conflict

You won’t survive.

I’m watching from the sidelines

Without one tear in my eye,

Cause you were begging for this all along,

Now it comes along  and you hide,

In an oyster.

Let the waves crash your bone-dry face,

Cause the stones have made you broken.

Sigh again, for the sun you know,

Another want left unspoken.

You have buried all your sense…

You want to contain this?

You wanna avoid this?

Just one more internal conflict

You won’t survive.

I’m watching from the sidelines

Without one tear in my eye,

Cause you were begging for this all along,

Now it comes along  and you hide,

In an oyster.

Static

I can’t exhale you

I can’t put you out of my system

You’re just so indynamic

You’re trying to chase me but we’re both stuck in traffic

You’re staticx2

A clinging fuzz, An annoying buzz

There ain’t no changing here

It’s tragic, You’re static

An outuned hum, A clinging fuzz,

There ain’t no future here,

We’re standing still, we’re static

I can’t unsee you

I can’t look away, it’s another bad habit

Just the same car accident,

You tried to chase me but we’re both stuck in traffic

You’re staticx2

A clinging fuzz, An annoying buzz

There ain’t no changing here

It’s tragic, You’re static

An outuned hum, A clinging fuzz,

There ain’t no future here,

We’re standing still, we’re static

Not a heartbeat, but a still

Cause there ain’t no spark, and there ain’t no thrill,

Don’t use the same old lines, this ain’t no lost love drill

This can’t die, there’s nothing to kill

You’re staticx2

A clinging fuzz, An annoying buzz

There ain’t no changing here

It’s tragic, You’re static

An outuned hum, A clinging fuzz,

There ain’t no future here,

We’re standing still, we’re static

You’re static, we’re static

The Only Good

Take a step back now

Do you remember how

Before the world started falling around you

You were pressed to be

A mess so squeaky clean

Lifted by the shoulders, I found you

When I was the only good,

You’re moving on, how do I take care of myself

If you don’t need me anymore

Am I still the only good,

You’re moving on, how do I like myself

If you don’t need me anymore.

You looked at me to say

If I needed you, you’d stay

Try and get me to confess weakness

Is that what this is for?

Love is just keeping score,

But I remember when you, too had demons

When I was the only good,

You’re moving on, how do I take care of myself

If you don’t need me anymore

Am I still the only good,

You’re moving on, how do I like myself

If you don’t need me anymore.

That’s not to say

You can’t feel okay

If I’m not by your side.

I just wanna know

Did I push you away?

Were there words to avoid?

Is there a way,

I can get back the time?

When I was the only good,

You’re moving on, how do I take care of myself

If you don’t need me anymore

Am I still the only good,

You’re moving on, how do I like myself

If you don’t need me anymore.

Singing To Deaf Ears

Let your head fall, let it hang,

You’ve hung yourself, haven’t you?

Let your hair down, cause the outside,

They can’t feel you.

All the cords, that are supposed to find you when you cry

All the people, who swore they’d die by your side,

You made one mistake, and you’re drowning in apologies,

But they’re deaf, you’re alone, not sure what you did wrong

But you’re sorry, doesn’t she know you’re sorry?

Let your hands fall, let it go

You’ve lost yourself, haven’t you?

Let your hopes down, cause without wings,

They’ll never fly

All the cords, that are supposed to find you when you cry

All the people, who swore they’d die by your side,

You made one mistake, and you’re drowning in apologies,

But they’re deaf, you’re alone, not sure what you did wrong

But you’re sorry, doesn’t she know you’re sorry?

The wound always seems to hurt the most,

When you’re pulling off the band-aid,

Suddenly you see the light,

You meant everything you ever did.

If it means you’ll die in this room alone,

Accept your fate, bite your lips,

Scream until they hear you again.

Let your hang fall, let it hang

You’ve hung yourself again, haven’t you?

Bees and Birds

Since you, I haven’t spent much time alone

Cause all my walls they talk to me,

Show memories, and sing songs to me

Since you, I haven’t spent much time outside

Cause all the bees and birds they smile,

And everything says you

Like a fly upon the wall,

Always watching what I do,

Your six eyes make me weak,

And I can’t fly with broken wings

But you clearly could

But you clearly could

Since you, I haven’t done much of anything at all,

Cause all my walls crumble and fall,

Torn down, I stumble and I crawl

Since you, I haven’t stopped moving a minute

When I do my head stops spinning

And everything says you

Like a fly upon the wall,

Always watching what I do,

Your six eyes make me weak,

And I can’t fly with broken wings

But you clearly could

But you clearly could

Cause you left and made a mess of me

You took the bees and birds,

Not just stones but words,

I find among the debris.

Cause you left and made a mess… of me

Like a fly upon the wall,

Always watching what I do,

Your six eyes make me weak,

And I can’t fly with broken wings

But you clearly could

But you clearly could

Cause all the bees and birds they smile

And everything says you…

Who Let Me In The Deep End Without A Buddy?

Your walk, your touch,

Those lips I’ll never feel,

What I’d do to feel them,

I shouldn’t really say.

That smile, those eyes,

They never see me,

What I’d to get them on me,

I won’t say.

Haven’t I been the best, the best, the best

You’ve never had

Cause I know you’re still the best, the best, the best

I’ll never hold

Would it kill you to kill, for me?

Would you care to care, for me?

Cause I’m drowning in an ocean of you,

Please don’t save me,

I’m just another fish, in the sea,

You’ll swim right passed,

You’ve swam right passed me.

Your words, your face,

It never faces me.

That mouth, your hands,

They’ll never trace me,

What I do for them to trace me,

I really shouldn’t say.

Haven’t I been the best, the best, the best

You’ve never had

Cause I know you’re still the best, the best, the best

I’ll never hold

Would it kill you to kill, for me?

Would you care to care, for me?

Cause I’m drowning in an ocean of you,

Please don’t save me,

I’m just another fish, in the sea,

You’ll swim right passed,

You’ve swam right passed me.

Would it kill you to kill, for me?

Would you care to care, for me?

Cause I’m drowning in an ocean of you,

Please don’t save me,

I’m just another fish, in the sea,

You’ll swim right passed,

You’ve swam right passed me.

I’m drowning…

I’m drowning, in you…

City Upon A Hill

Try and hold me underwater

Maybe when I can’t breathe I’ll be sane

But I’m not the wrong one,

Hold your own breath, if you think I’m ever coming back.

Fence me into your conventions,

My white teeth are still so crooked,

I don’t pray with my eyes closed anymore,

To hope, they’ve gotta be open.

I feel bad for you,

It’s a long way down from

The city upon a hill.

I feel bad for you,

You’ll see you’re still a far cry from

The standard you’re made of,

It’s a long way down,

From the city upon a hill, ooh.

You hold a witch hunt, cause your

Scape goat’s escaping.

I must be some kinda ghost, to go through

These brick walls you believe in

I feel bad for you,

It’s a long way down from

The city upon a hill.

I feel bad for you,

You’ll see you’re still a far cry from

The standard you’re made of,

It’s a long way down,

From the city upon a hill, ooh.

You don’t need my pity,

So why do you need my head bowed down.

You don’t need my pity

So why do you need my head bowed down,

You’re better off burning this city,

You’re better off burning this city, in your head.

I feel bad for you,

It’s a long way down from

The city upon a hill.

I feel bad for you,

You’ll see you’re still a far cry from

The standard you’re made of,

It’s a long way down,

From the city upon a hill, ooh.

Well Conditioned

You gave me secrets I couldn’t hold

Too heavy on my shoulders, you

Never cared the weight you threw, and

You even laughed when I fall off balance, I

Never noticed how you do, and why

Did I think you were on my side, oh

I don’t want you

I don’t need you

Not when you come with the conditions you do

You bent and you broke me, you wore me out

And after, you left me to figure it out

Oh, I’ve been figuring too,

I see the worst parts of me

Were always inspired by you

I see the worst parts of me

Were always inspired by you

You twisted me vision to keep you in view,

I though I liked what I’d been seeing, I

Wasn’t seeing everything, though,

Not straight, your smattered truth

I don’t want you

I don’t need you

Not when you come with the conditions you do

You bent and you broke me, you wore me out

And after, you left me to figure it out

Oh, I’ve been figuring too,

I see the worst parts of me

Were always inspired by you

I see the worst parts of me

Were always inspired by you

I should’ve known about boys like you

I should’ve known about boys like you

Watch me take the headaches you gave me

And turn them into more rhymes to save me

I don’t want you

I don’t need you

Not when you come with the conditions you do

You bent and you broke me, you wore me out

And after, you left me to figure it out

Oh, I’ve been figuring too,

I see the worst parts of me

Were always inspired by you

I see the worst parts of me

Were always inspired by you
